Top Fashion House seeks urgent EPC clarification
Moncler is one of the World's leading high-fashion labels and in 2024 they embarked on an ambitious project to move from their old HQ site in Mayfair's Old Bond Street to a much larger and even more prestigious premises in New Bond Street. Crucial to the project of renovating the beautiful late Victorian store and uppers was that it should be open in time for the busy Christmas shopping period in December.
We surveyed the store whilst it was over-run with swarms of fit-out specialists as they put the finishing touches to this incredible space, in fact visiting at this stage proved hugely beneficial as it allowed access to multiple spaces and cavities that simply wouldn't have been possible once the works had been completed. As events transpired it was only our survey of the behind-the-scenes staff areas (which had had the most dramatic changes to their HVAC systems and insulation) that were required - but true to our maxims of being agile and delivering time-critical certification that's what we achieved and the store opened successfully on time to hordes of discerning shoppers.
